To get the best flavour from your beans, it helps to understand how we grind and ship your coffee.

When we grind

We grind the day your order ships — never before.

This keeps aroma and oils intact, especially for lighter roasts.

How to pick your grind

  • Whole bean – best for freshness; grind just before brewing.

  • Filter grind – for pour-over or drip machines.

  • Espresso grind – fine and even; suited for high pressure brewing.

  • French press grind – coarse and chunky; allows cleaner plunges.

You can adjust this anytime in your subscription settings.

Freshness window

Your coffee tastes best within 4 weeks of roast date.

After that, it’s still good — but loses brightness and crema.

Tip: Keep beans sealed and away from light or heat. Don’t store them in the fridge.
